"One of the simple pleasures of traveling through Wales is seeing the grazing herds throughout its landscape. It is said that 10 million sheep call the country home, but only 3 million people live in Wales. Climbing up to the top of thirteenth-century Harlech Castle, a UNESCO site on the cliffs of Gwynedd, bestowed spectacular views of patchwork fields and storybook towns along the coast. As the rain gave way to sunshine, atmospheric mist hovered in the distance beneath the majestic peaks of Snowdonia, above Tremadog Bay, and into the Irish Sea."

Notes: The accompaniment is a beautiful rendition of The Welsh National Anthem called "Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau." The lyrics are very much an ode to the Welsh language, its revered natural landscape, and its beloved culture of poets, singers, bards, and, of course, those who died for Welsh freedom. The anthem is widely renowned and highly regarded.
